Guided Journal and Card Set | Typography, layout, branding
A guided journal and card system designed to support daily reflection and intention-setting. The project includes 180 days of prompts and a paired card system—one reflect card and one prompt card—used throughout the day. Each journal spread is designed for users to document how they applied the prompts, emphasizing thoughtful typography, layout, and cohesive branding.
Words to Live By is a guided journal and prompt card system designed to encourage daily reflection and interpersonal connection. The project focuses on creating a welcoming, accessible visual system that balances structure with warmth through typography, color, and modular layout decisions.
The system is built around 180 days of prompts and a paired card format, with users drawing one reflect card and one prompt card each day. These prompts are intended to be carried throughout the day and then revisited in the journal, where structured spreads guide users in documenting how the prompts influenced their thoughts, actions, and interactions.
Visual decisions were made to support approachability and ease of use, with consistent typographic hierarchy, generous spacing, and flexible layouts that adapt across the journal and card components. Together, the pieces function as a cohesive system that encourages intentional engagement rather than rigid instruction.
